Target Corp. Reports⁢ Sales Drop Amid ⁢Controversy and Inflation Concerns

Target Corp. announced on Wednesday a decline in second-quarter sales, which can be attributed to negative customer reactions towards its Pride merchandise and⁢ concerns about inflation. The ‌company had been ‌selling onesies⁤ with pro-LGBT slogans, LGBT-themed books for⁢ children, and a swimsuit marketed as “tuck-friendly.” However, Target clarified that the swimsuit ‍was intended for adults only.
