Maine City Requests Funds After Being Swamped With Illegal Aliens
The town of Portland, Maine, warned that social services were under pressure in a letter from the spring of 2022 that its financial situation was” severe circumstances” due to the influx of people crossing the southern border.
Portland is currently soliciting tax-deductible funds to assist in construction hundreds, if not hundreds, of illegal aliens. The Portland Expo Center may be converted into overnight accommodation for these” hospital seeking” who will enter the country starting on Monday evening, according to city officials’ announcement from last week.
According to Kristen Dow, Portland’s’s Director of the Department of Health and Human Services,” the intention is to open[ the expo ] and offer complete and total wrap-around services that are targeted to the population that will be staying here.”
