A suspicious package sent to Republican Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is headed to the FBI lab for further analysis. On Tuesday, officials said while initial tests showed the white powder inside is not dangerous, further tests are needed.

A package was delivered to Kentucky lawmaker’s home on Monday, which contained the substance along with a picture of the lawmaker with a gun to his head. It also included a note that read, “I’ll finish what your neighbor started.” It arrived just days after musician Richard Marx praised Paul’s neighbor who was convicted of attacking him back in 2017.

Sen. Paul denounced the threats and slammed Twitter for allowing so-called “C-list celebrities” to encourage violence against him as well as his family.
