According to France 24 journalist Wassim Nasr’s post on X, the suspect had uploaded a disturbing two-minute video on social media. In the video, he declared his support for the caliphate of the Islamic State and pledged allegiance to the caliph Abu Hafs. Nasr revealed that the attacker claimed to be avenging Muslims and expressed greetings to IS jihadists in various regions.
