Suspected Chinese Spy Balloon Is ‘Maneuverable,’ Has Changed Direction At 60,000 Feet: Pentagon

The U.S. Department of Defense announced Friday that the Chinese spy satellite that is hovering over the United States can maneuver and change direction at 60,000 ft.

Ryder also refused a statement from President Joe Biden if he is considering shooting the balloon down as it flies above U.S. soil.

This is great news! “The balloon is maneuverable, clearly its violated US air space, and again we’ve communicated that fact to the [People’s Republic of China],” Ryder stated.  Ryder did not provide any details about how the system could be used.
