Supporters claim Tim Scott brings ‘fire’ in super PAC’s new ad.
EXCLUSIVE: Tim Scott’s Super PAC Releases New Ad Highlighting His Ability to Bring “the Heat”
The Trust in the Mission PAC, dedicated to supporting Sen. Tim Scott’s (R-SC) presidential campaign, has unveiled its third ad of the primary season. This 30-second spot, part of a $7.25 million ad buy, will air in Iowa, New Hampshire, and on national cable news throughout the summer.
A Diverse Group of Supporters Praise Tim Scott’s Conservative Values
- “Tim Scott’s a conservative,” says Jenean, a college student.
- “Have you seen him work a crowd?” asks Mac, a veteran.
- Ken, another veteran, recalls Scott’s appearance on The View, stating, “They couldn’t take the heat.”
In recent footage from a campaign event, Scott confidently declares, “I’m the candidate the far Left fears the most.”
According to TIMPAC Co-Chairman Rob Collins, “The far Left is throwing everything they have at Sen. Tim Scott because he keeps debunking their lies about America.” Collins adds, “Joe Biden and the Democrats fear him the most because his conservative vision and optimism in America has broad appeal with voters fed up with the failed status quo. Tim is the candidate with positive momentum in this race, and we expect that to continue as more voters hear from him.”
Strong Financial Support for Tim Scott’s Campaign
TIMPAC has reserved $40 million for TV and digital ads in the fall, bringing their total spent or reserved for paid media to $47.25 million since Scott entered the 2024 race. Notably, other super PACs have yet to secure air time for the fall in support of a 2024 candidate.
In the first fundraising report of the 2024 election cycle, TIMPAC raised $19.3 million, including $10.8 million transferred from a super PAC that previously supported Scott’s reelection in 2022. As of June, TIMPAC had $15 million in cash on hand, while Scott’s campaign boasted $21 million available cash, providing a solid foundation for a sustained presidential bid.
Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), the top-polling candidates, have expressed concerns about their financial statuses due to relatively high burn rates.
