Update from Stimulus: Residents of Massachusetts will receive a direct payment of up to$ 400 in 22 days.

Recipients of a food and utility subsidy program in Chelsea, Massachusetts, will receive their final payment from the program in just over three weeks.

These payments, which range in value from$ 200 to$ 400, are distributed to 738 chosen households on May 15. The Chelsea Eats system, which receives funding from this action, aims to cover utility and food expenses. The securities are loaded on recipients’ bank accounts, which were issued in early March, according to a Chelsea neighborhood voice to the Washington Examiner.

Depending on how many people are living in the home, different amounts are given to consumers. According to the program’s’s website, one household receives$ 200, two households receive$ 300, and three households or more receive$ 400.

Families had to live in Chelsea and have a home income that was 30 % below the local middle in order to be available. To be a part of the program, households of one must earn less than$ 29, 450, and household of two must make less that amount, or$ 33, 650. For each new member of the household, the doorway rose.

The Washington Examiner was informed by the voice that the system would end following this subsequent payment.
