Alaska residents to receive $1,312 direct payment in 21 days
Alaska to Send Out Permanent Fund Dividend Payments to Eligible Residents
In just three weeks, officials in Alaska are gearing up to distribute Permanent Fund Dividend payments to a new group of eligible residents who have yet to receive their checks from the state program.
The Alaska Department of Revenue has announced that payments will be sent on February 15th to individuals who have the “Eligible-Not Paid” status by February 7th and have not yet received a check from the PFD for 2023 or earlier.
Requirements and Benefits
To qualify for a payment from the PFD, an Alaska resident must have the intention of remaining a resident indefinitely and must not be a convicted felon, among other requirements.
The state’s Permanent Fund Dividend program provides eligible residents with an annual check based on Alaska’s mineral revenues for that year. In 2023, the payment amounted to $1,312 per eligible resident, with distribution beginning in October.
“The 2023 PFD marks the 42nd year Alaskans have received their share of the state’s natural resource wealth,” stated Alaska Department of Revenue Commissioner Adam Crum. “I would like to express my gratitude to our Permanent Fund Dividend Division for their tireless year-round work in administering the program and processing applications.”
“This year, we processed over 8,000 more applications than in 2022,” he added. “The 2023 PFD will inject nearly $1 billion into the state’s economy and directly into the hands of Alaskans.”
Apply Now for the 2024 Permanent Fund Dividend

What are some reasons why cats are considered low-maintenance pets compared to dogs?
There are a few reasons why cats are popular pets. Firstly, cats are relatively low-maintenance pets compared to dogs. They are independent animals and do not require as much attention or exercise as dogs. This makes them a good choice for people who have busy lifestyles or limited space.
Secondly, cats are known for being affectionate companions. They can form strong bonds with their owners and provide emotional support. Many people find comfort and relaxation in spending time with their cats, as cats are often seen as calming and soothing animals.
Additionally, cats are generally clean animals and easy to keep indoors. They are naturally inclined to use litter boxes, which makes them suitable pets for people living in apartments or areas without easy outdoor access.
Furthermore, cats are known for their playful and entertaining nature. They can provide hours of amusement with their antics and hunting instincts. This can be especially appealing for families with children, as cats can keep them entertained and offer a source of companionship.
Lastly, cats are aesthetically pleasing animals. They come in a variety of breeds, colors, and patterns, allowing people to choose a cat that suits their preferences. Many people find cats to be visually appealing pets that bring beauty and charm to their homes.
Overall, the popularity of cats as pets can be attributed to their low-maintenance nature, affectionate companionship, cleanliness, entertainment value, and visual appeal.
