In just nine days, a groundbreaking guaranteed income program will begin in El Monte, California. This program aims to provide recipients with a monthly payment of $500, offering much-needed financial support.

Recipients of this program will receive their payments on a convenient debit card. To collect their card, participants are required to attend an engaging in-person presentation at El Monte city hall. While payments are typically issued on the first of each month, there is a unique twist. If a month starts on a Saturday or Sunday, the monthly payment will be issued on the preceding Friday.
