If you’re one of the 738 households receiving payments from the Chelsea Eats program, mark your calendars for May 15th! This is when the final payment of the program will be issued, ranging from $200 to $400. The funds are meant to help with food and utility costs, and are loaded onto debit cards that were issued to recipients in early March.

How Much Will You Receive?

The amount you’ll receive depends on the size of your household. If you’re a household of one, you’ll receive $200. If you’re a household of two, you’ll receive $300. And if you’re a household of three or more, you’ll receive $400. It’s that simple!

Are You Eligible?

To be eligible for the program, you must be a resident of Chelsea with a household income of 30% less than the area median. If you’re a household of one, you must make less than $29,450. If you’re a household of two, you must make less than $33,650. The threshold increases for each additional member of the household.
