A Senator’s Advertisement Exposing Anti-Christian Bigotry Rejected by Sports Network
In a bold move, a senator has taken a stand against anti-Christian bigotry, only to have his advertisement rejected by a sports network.
This Friday, the LA Dodgers are set to celebrate “Pride Night” by honoring the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a group of drag queens that openly mocks Catholic nuns and engages in grotesque performances that ridicule the core beliefs of Christianity.
Initially, the invitation to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence was rescinded due to backlash from Christians, including Florida’s Sen. Marco Rubio. However, the Dodgers succumbed to pressure from the LGBT lobby and reinstated the invitation.
In response to the Dodgers’ embrace of anti-Christian bigotry, Rubio and his Reclaim America PAC have decided to fight back by releasing a powerful television advertisement that exposes the truth about these so-called “sisters.”
The ad, as reported by Fox News Digital, features footage of a performance where one of the “sisters” uses a crucifix as a stripper pole, while Rubio passionately explains the gravity of the situation.
“The so-called Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are not community heroes. They are nothing more than an anti-Catholic hate group,” Rubio states.
“Their acts are grotesque and mock the faith of millions in Los Angeles, including many of the players and coaches on the field tonight,” he continues. “Honoring anti-Christian bigots isn’t tolerance. It is a celebration of hatred.”
However, despite the importance of the message, Spectrum SportsNet LA, the station airing the Dodgers game, has refused to play the advertisement, according to an adviser to Senator Rubio.
Rubio, in response to this rejection, tells Fox News Digital that it reveals the true face of the media.
“It tells you everything you need to know about the Dodgers, Major League Baseball, and the media,” he says. “They are no longer demanding tolerance, they now promote intolerance and even hatred of Christianity.”
Rubio’s assessment is spot-on, as this refusal to air his ad demonstrates that the media is not only permitting but also encouraging anti-Christian bigotry in America.
It is deeply concerning that a major sports team representing one of America’s largest cities is honoring a group that openly mocks and desecrates the fundamental principles of the Christian faith. And when a politician tries to shed light on this issue, they are silenced.
This entire event has nothing to do with tolerance and everything to do with ridiculing Christians who hold steadfast to the biblical truth about marriage, gender, and family.
Meanwhile, the United States Congress of Catholic Bishops has issued a statement urging Catholics to pray the Litany of the Sacred Heart as an act of reparation for the blasphemy committed by these “sisters.”

Indeed, it is a time for all Christians to pray. Alongside prayers of reparation for blasphemy, we must also pray for the soul of our nation as it continues to drift further into sin.
