Speaker McCarthy Releases 41,000 Hours Of Exclusive Jan. 6 Footage To Tucker Carlson: Report

According to reports, Kevin McCarthy (Republican from California) gave 41,000 hours U.S. Capitol surveillance footage relating to the January 6th riot to Tucker Carlson of Fox News. He could air the eagerly awaited release on his programs within the next few weeks.

According to Axios Sources claim that Carlson’s TV producers began looking through the footage on Capitol Hill last week.

“[T]here was never any legitimate reason for this footage to remain secret,” Carlson spoke to Axios. “If there was ever a question that’s in the public’s interest to know, it’s what actually happened on January 6.”

A crowd entered the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 to disrupt lawmakers who were meeting to confirm President Joe Biden’s victory in 2020. Axios however reported that nearly 30,000 hours of footage exists.
