In Sony Pictures Entertainment’s latest trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, a “Protect Trans Kids” flag is prominently displayed, promoting gender affirmation and surgical procedures to affirm an individual’s belief that they are the opposite sex.

At the 2:03 mark of the trailer, Spider-Gwen appears to be sitting in her room while contemplating losing her friend, Miles Morales.

Above her door, a “Transgender Flag” with a “Protect Trans Kids” message is visible.
