Important Information for Supplemental Security Income Beneficiaries

Are you a Supplemental Security Income (SSI) beneficiary? Great news! Your monthly payment is just around the corner. In fact, you’re only 24 days away from receiving your payment worth up to $914 for individual filers.

When Will You Get Your Payment?

The Social Security Administration will send out payments to eligible recipients on June 1. The amount you receive will depend on your filing status:

• Individual filers: $914 per month
• Joint filers: $1,371 per month
• Essential persons: $458 per month (these are people who live with someone receiving SSI and provide them with necessary care)

Payments are delivered on the first day of the month. If the first falls on a weekend or holiday, you’ll receive your payment on the business day prior to ensure you have it by the first of the month.

It’s important to note that you’ll receive two checks in the same calendar month multiple times a year. However, you’ll still receive a total of 12 checks per year. This year, you’ll receive two payments in March, June, September, and December because the first of the month falls on a weekend or holiday in April, July, October, and January 2024.

One more thing: the July payment will be issued on June 30 because July 1 falls on a Saturday.
