“Of course, I’m heartbroken about all the plans I had for this week, but my health must come first,” Kelly wrote. “Until I see you again, I want you to enjoy the music that represents the happy place I’ve been in the last few years. This hurdle won’t stop the music from being yours on Friday!”
According to her husband André Murillo’s Instagram Story, Kelly is now “smiling again and feeling stronger.” He expressed gratitude for the overwhelming love and kindness they have received during this challenging time.
Earlier this week, reports emerged that Kelly had collapsed while out to dinner and was hospitalized in a “really serious” condition. Sources revealed that her heart was beating unusually fast before she collapsed and that she was unconscious for a period of time. She was then driven to Cedars-Sinai hospital by her own car.
Doctors discovered blood clots around several of Kelly’s vital organs and are currently determining if any are near or around her heart. Despite her absence from the scheduled performance, her new EP will still be released on July 28.
