Shannon Sharpe Gets in Heated Altercation With Memphis Grizzlies Players During Game Against Lakers

All hell broke loose Friday night between Shannon Sharpe, members of the Memphis Grizzlies and Ja Morant’s dad.

The Lakers were defeated on the road in the second quarter.

Dillon Brooks, Ja Morant, Steven Adams and Ja’s dad Tee were all involved in confronting the former NFL superstar. The situation was finally settled and security personnel were able to take control. Sharpe ESPN reports that halftime is when the team goes away.

Another angle shows Shannon Sharpe and Ja Morant’s Tee really letting the verbal shots fly during the exchange.

Shannon Sharpe shared with ESPN what happened during halftime:

They didn’t want this smoke, Dave. They do all that talking and jockeying and I ain’t about that jockeying. It began with Dillon Brooks. He was too small to protect LeBron, I claimed. He said, ‘F*ck me’. I said: ‘F*ck you’ back. I told him that he was coming at me. ‘You don’t want these problems.’ And then Ja came out of nowhere talking. He definitely didn’t want these problems. Then the dad came and he obviously didn’t want no problems. I wanted all they had. Don’t let these fools fool you now.

LeBron James, a man addicted to attention, was not surprised that Shannon Sharpe was arguing with the opposing side.

Shannon Sharpe, and everyone else, everything turned out to be fine.

Tee Morant and Sharpe were also able to make up the difference at the end the third quarter, and everything turned out fine.

While the Grizzlies didn’t get a win, at least they put on a show with Shannon Sharpe courtside. It was definitely one of the most bizarre moments we’ve seen so far this season.
