Senior Citizens from Biden’s Own Hometown Turning on Him – They Know Exactly What Happens with Age: Report

As the old adage goes, “Father Time is undefeated,” and this rings true for professional athletes as well as everyday Americans. President Biden is struggling to gain unified support from senior citizens in his hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania, due to his age and other factors. The Messenger spoke to several older residents and found that support for the incumbent president was not unanimous.

What the Senior Citizens Had to Say

• Ike Mielo, 82, voted for Biden in 2020 but believes that a younger candidate is needed as you start to lose your mind after a certain age.
• Barbara Petroski, 86, called the president’s current persona a “front” and doesn’t think he has the capabilities anymore. She won’t be voting for Biden in 2024 and would like former Vice President Mike Pence to run for the White House instead.
• Fred Miller, a retired Republican in his 60s, doesn’t trust Vice President Kamala Harris and doesn’t want to see her become president if something were to happen to Biden.

While there are still plenty of voters in Scranton who support Biden, this could be a troubling sign for his re-election bid if he can’t gain wholesale support from his hometown.
