Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) took aim at Democrats and their influence on Big Tech for their efforts to silence conservative voices. Speaking at CPAC on Friday, Hawley vowed not to back down in the fight against cancel culture.

He said Big Tech has taken steps to deplatform conservatives over the last few weeks, citing the removal of President Trump from several social media outlets. He also condemned the liberal media from painting him as a “traitor and secessionist,” for calling for a debate on election integrity.

“The radical left, their corporate allies, the liberal media have tried to cancel me, censor me, expel me, shut me down, stop me from representing the people of Missouri, stop me from representing you,” Hawley said. “And guess what? I’m here today. I’m not going anywhere and I’m not backing down. Not a chance.”

Hawley called on Republicans to reclaim legacy of trust-busting and break up Big Tech companies and international corporations. He said these companies are selling America out to China and selling out our jobs.
