Sen. Cruz Fires Back at Eric Swalwell’s Bet Challenge

Eric Swalwell, the Democrat most known for his connections to a Chinese spy, continued his illustrious career as Congress’s biggest dork Tuesday by challenging Ted Cruz to a wager on the upcoming 49ers-Cowboys playoff game and immediately received a digital ‘Swirly’ From the Texas senator.

It’s not uncommon for politicians to make friendly wagers backing local sports teams in the communities they represent. What is it? Is Swalwell’s pretense that he is a passionate sports fan is unusual. Swalwell is, afterall, a man who broke both of his thumbs Playing soccer.

Ted Cruz Returns to Swalwell Issues Bet

Another person mentioned that Swalwell “doesn’t have anything to do now in Congress” And seems bored.

Hmmm… Why would that be? Is it possible that Eric Swalwell was too busy to berate Ted Cruz about football?

Oh, that’s right. He got booted off The House Intelligence Committee was criticized by Speaker Kevin McCarthy for questionable ties with a Chinese spy.

“Swalwell can’t get a security clearance in the private sector. I’m not going to give him a government security clearance,” McCarthy stated.
