According to South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem (R), Democrats are promoting critical race theory in order to have more control over Americans’ lives.

In a recent interview, Noem accused the left of using critical race theory to gain power and jurisdiction. She added, this is not what the founding fathers had in mind when they fought for freedom.

Noem said Americans should be focusing on the life lessons learned through history instead of the “negativity of the Marxist theories that are coming out of so many of these leaders today.” She went on to praise the parents who are standing up against such ideology being blindly taught to their children by saying it is important to remain involved.

“I love to see these moms going forward and these dads going forward giving passionate speeches, caring about what their children are exposed to and what kind of teaching they get in their classrooms,” stated the South Dakota governor. “We need to remember that by name a child gets into the K-12 of the school system, that teacher is spending more time with those children then the parents are.”

Noem went on to say she’s concerned with the direction of the country under Joe Biden’s administration.
