Russia used hypersonic missiles in its latest barrage across Ukraine

Russian forces launched numerous strikes across the country on Thursday Ukraine In what was one the largest strikes in weeks, they claimed it was in retaliation to a alleged Ukrainian operation in Russia’s Bryansk area. Six of the more that 80 strikes were X-47 Kinzhal, air-launched cruise missiles hypersonic missiles.

Officials from Ukraine claimed that they are not equipped to intercept hypersonic weapons. They travel at speeds five times faster than sound.
