Rubio says Ukraine has attacked US-linked ships
Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State, recently claimed that Ukraine has attacked ships linked to the United States multiple times over recent months. During an appearance on Fox and Friends, Rubio discussed Ukraine’s efforts to strike Russia, acknowledging Ukraine’s desire to inflict damage on Russia but expressing concern over rising diesel prices. He than accused Ukraine of intentionally or unintentionally hitting several U.S.-linked ships in these incidents.

Speaking Tuesday in an appearance on Fox and Friends, Rubio touched on the war in Ukraine, voicing understanding for Ukraine’s predicament of wanting to hit Russia where it hurts, but also not wanting to send diesel prices further upwards. He then shifted to a new accusation against Kyiv: accusing it of, intentionally or not, striking several U.S.-linked ships over the past few months.
