Ron DeSantis Drops The Hammer On Bud Light Over Transgender Controversy

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis slammed Bud Light on Monday night, urging republicans to exert more pressure on the business as it deals with rebound over its choice to collaborate with contentious trans influence Dylan Mulvaney.

DeSantis’ comments during the interview with political critic Benny Johnson came after the company issued a statement late last week that sparked even more criticism of it because it was viewed as poor by all social spectrums.

What did make Bud Light appealing to you? DeSantis enquired. ” I mean, really, that’s’s like them rubbing our faces in it, and it like these businesses that do this, they’re’re just going to keep doing it if they never get any response.”

Therefore, DeSantis said that if you as a consumer are thinking,” Yeah, they’re’re doing that, but I’m’m just going to keep drinking it anyway ,” then they will continue to do so. Because traditional consumers occasionally won’t make a gash in some businesses, I believe we have the power as consumers to speak out, but not on all of them.

DeSantis said,” If you don’t have conservative beer drinkers, you’re’re going to feel that, and so you know, I think it’s’s a thing.” It’s’s part of a larger issue where corporate America is attempting to change our nation, but some of these controversies that come up, and people can kind of just say,” Oh, well, sort of one off, yeah, it was stupid to do.” Pushback is appropriate across the board, including with Bud Light, as I try to change policy, change culture, and, you know, I’d’d rather be governed by we the people than woke companies.

DeSantis said,” No, I don’t think so ,” when asked if he would ever drink Bud Light again.

DeSantis claimed that the discussion caused the business to lose him as a client.
