RFK accuses Biden of attracting terrorists to the border
Presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy Jr. slams President Joe Biden’s “broken border policies“
Kennedy published an opinion editorial Thursday detailing the failures of the Biden administration at the border over the past year. He titled the piece “Congress must stop terrorists who keep coming in through Biden’s broken border” and lamented the data on convicts discovered at the border.
“The Biden administration has made our southern border a magnet for terrorists and a cesspool of human suffering,” Kennedy wrote. “It’s both a national embarrassment and the biggest national-security threat our country faces, yet Biden continues to ignore the problem.”
Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Field Operations reported a total of 736 known or suspected terrorists in 2023. This was the greatest number of apprehended in recorded United States history. The majority of these were discovered at the northern border.
According to additional CBP data cited by Kennedy’s editorial, 284 sex offenders were also discovered by CBP.

Kennedy initially campaigned as a Democratic candidate but has since switched to run as an Independent candidate. As a result, the environmental lawyer has seemingly aligned more and more with right-leaning politics, writing in the editorial that his “fellow conservatives and I are doing all we can to bring Biden to the table.”
Additionally, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is facing impeachment from House Republicans due to the more than 302,000 people processed at the U.S.-Mexico border in December alone. This is in addition to the over 10 million immigrants who have reportedly entered the country illegally since Biden took office. It is the most recorded in that amount of time of any administration.

He criticized President Biden for the surge in illegal border crossings and accused his administration of failing to address the issue effectively.

Kennedy also highlighted the concerning data regarding convicts attempting to enter the country through the southern border. According to recent reports, Border Patrol agents have apprehended individuals with a history of violent crimes, including murder, rape, and drug trafficking.
“These are not isolated cases. The data shows a steady stream of criminals attempting to enter our country illegally. This poses a significant threat to the safety and well-being of American citizens,” Kennedy stated.
Moreover, Kennedy criticized the Biden administration for its lack of transparency and accountability concerning the border crisis. He called for Congress to step in and take action to address the issue, emphasizing the need for border security and immigration reform.
