Tucker Carlson Unfazed by Fox News Exit

Despite his sudden departure from Fox News, Tucker Carlson was all smiles when reporters caught up with him in Florida. The Daily Mail reported that Carlson appeared unbothered by the speculation surrounding his exit and what he would do next. When asked about his future plans, Carlson only mentioned his upcoming dinner with his wife, which marked the first weeknight dinner date they’ve had in seven years. “Retirement is going great so far!” he joked.

On Monday, the news of Carlson’s exit blindsided everyone, including the host himself. He had signed off on Friday with the promise of returning on Monday, but Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott and Fox Corp chief executive Lachlan Murdoch had already made the decision to let him go. Carlson was only informed of the decision ten minutes before the news went public. As of now, it’s unclear what will happen to the 8 p.m. EST time slot.

Despite the left’s vicious attacks on him for years, Tucker Carlson is still happy. A video posted by Benny Johnson on Twitter shows Carlson laughing with his wife of over 30 years and their four kids on a golf cart. “Not a care in the world,” Johnson wrote. “Tucker wins. Eternal joy.”
