Tennessee currently has one of the strictest bans on gender transition medicine for minors in the country, denying access to puberty blockers, hormone therapies, and invasive surgeries.
Recently, attorneys representing teenagers and their guardians in Tennessee called on the Supreme Court to intervene after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit ruled in September that the state’s ban on gender transition medicine was constitutional.
“Tennesseans won’t be intimidated by President Biden, and other states shouldn’t be either,” Green declared.
