Report Reveals Where Americans Moved To – And Away From – Last Year

Recent report revealed where Americans moved to last year — and the top places that they left.

Allied Van Lines’ Magnet States Report Data on how Americans are moving across the country has been revealed as of 2022. It revealed that there were fewer people who moved in the last year than there were in 2020 and 2021. The overall number of moves fell in all 50 states, which resulted in a 20% decrease in the total population over the period 2022.

Arizona was the most popular state for Americans to move to in 2022. It followed South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee. First, Tucson, Arizona was the most desired city. Then came Sarasota in Florida, Charlotte, North Carolina and Austin, Texas. Finally, there was Nashville, Tennessee.

Americans were also more likely to leave certain states than others. Illinois is the most popular, followed by California and New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Pennsylvania.

Americans emigrated to the top five cities: New York, New York; Anaheim (California); San Diego (California); Chicago (Illinois); and Riverside (California).

Americans moved the most on Tuesdays of the week, followed closely by Wednesdays and Fridays. The most popular month for moving was June, followed closely by July and August.

According to the report, there was not much population growth in major cities last year. This is because more people chose to move to the suburbs over living in the city.

Many cities experiencing a significant increase in residents saw an increase in home prices. However, high prices also occurred in the areas where people moved.

New York City’s average home costs 119% more than the average across the country. The average home price in Riverside, Anaheim and San Diego is also higher than the national average. Chicago, however, is not. However, its home prices are below the national average. This could be a sign that other issues like crime or cost are driving residents out of the area.

According to Neighborhood ScoutAnaheim, California has a similar crime problem. Its crime index shows that it is safer then just 9% of American cities. New York’s crime Index is 15, whereas Riverside’s is 5, and San Diego’s is 17. Chicago’s crime index It also has a 9.

With the exception of Tucson, there was an increase in home values in all other top cities.

According to the report, most Americans lived 15 miles from their houses before the pandemic. However, today they live fifty miles from their homes.

A Report Extra Space Storage reported that they expect the housing market to be more stable in 2018. This could allow many people to move easier.
