Report: Kamala Harris holds crisis dinner amid negative press

Kamala Harris recently met with her female colleagues amid ongoing negative press. According to Axios on Friday, Harris hosted a dinner with top Democrat women last month in hopes of coming up with a response to her damaging media coverage.
The event was reportedly hosted by former Clinton advisor and Democrat public affairs strategist Kiki McLean. Other guests included former Obama White House communications director Jennifer Palmieri and several Democratic National Committee (DNC) officials.
This comes after bombshell reports of a toxic workplace and ongoing criticism of her role as Joe Biden’s so-called border czar.
“People are thrown under the bus from the very top, there are short fuses and it’s an abusive environment,” a source quoted in the Politico report said. “It’s not a healthy environment and people often feel mistreated.”
