Rep. Boebert on America Owning 46% of the World’s Guns: “We Need to Get Our Numbers Up”
MAGA Representative Lauren Boebert believes Americans owning less than 50% of the world’s guns is a disappointing statistic and “we need to get our numbers up.”
Boebert made these hilarious comments (which are of course accompanied by the left clutching pearls). During a floor speech A new mandate from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to require gun owners to register firearms equipped with pistol braces has been condemned by the ATF.
Boebert’s colleague, Representative Matt Gaetz of Florida, introduced a bill that would ATF should be abolished In response to the ruling regarding pistol braces, which make many gun owners criminals overnight.
In her speech, the Colorado Republican echoed The Political Insider’s Dr. Derek Ellerman who suggested ‘Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms’ should be the name for a convenience store.
“Alcohol, tobacco, and firearms,” She spoke. “In western Colorado, we call that a fun weekend.”

Lauren Boebert Laments Gun Ownership in America is Too Low
Boebert slammed “D.C. bureaucrats” who she accuses of having used the ATF “to infringe on the rights of the American people.”

She noted the bureau’s involvement in the Operation Fast and Furious scandal under Barack Obama – a government gun-running operation to Mexican drug cartels that resulted in the deaths of dozens of people, including border agent Brian Terry.
The congresswoman also noted that “gun-free zones are the most dangerous places in our country.”
Patrick Neville, a survivor of the Columbine shooting in 1999, has said: “Time and time again we point to the one common theme with mass shootings, they occur in gun-free zones.”

Boebert then suggested not enough Americans are taking advantage of their right to bear arms.
“The Second Amendment is absolute and it’s here to stay. A recent report states that Americans own 46% of the world’s guns,” she said. “I think we need to get our numbers up, boys and girls.”

Does Not Shy Away From Her Guns
Lauren Boebert’s unbridled exuberance in defending gun ownership in America has sometimes raised the ire of the left to hilarious effect.
She drew a little heat from anti-gun Democrats after a Zoom call with other lawmakers in 2021 in which guns were sitting on a shelf behind her.
“I always thought my dirty dishes piled up and accumulating bacteria were the most dangerous thing in a Zoom background,” scoffed Rep. Katie Porter at the time.
Boebert fired back in epic fashion, “Do your dishes, Hon.”
Later that year, she posted a photo that included her four kids posing with guns in front of a Christmas tree, leading Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) to suggest she was trying to erase the meaning of Christmas.

Boebert hammered 14 Republicans who voted with Democrats to advance a gun control bill in June, less than two hours after the text had been circulated.
The bill, which enhanced background checks for anyone under 21, established a federal grant program to encourage states to create unconstitutional ‘red flag’ laws, and increased funding for school safety and mental healthcare, passed later that month thanks to Republican support.
It was signed into law by President Biden.
“Our Second Amendment is under siege by the very people it is supposed to protect us against,” Boebert tweeted.
