READ: Judge James Ho’s Remarks Announcing a Hiring Boycott From Stanford Law School

Fifth Circuit judge James Ho delivered the following remarks on April 1 to an annual gathering of the Texas Review of Law & Politics.

Firstly, Judge Ho thanks Lisa for her wonderful introduction and expresses his deep admiration for the Texas Review of Law & Politics, which is celebrating its 25th Annual Banquet. He reminisces how much things have changed since he was in law school, and he reflects on the state of education in law schools today, particularly in regards to the training of future leaders, citizenship, democracy and intellectual exploration.
