Radical Trans Professor Threatens ‘Zionist Journalists’ and Their Kids: ‘They Should Fear Us’
Just three days after Hamas carried out a brutal attack on families in southern Israel, a professor at the University of California at Davis launched a scathing social media attack on what he referred to as “Zionist journalists.” Jemma Decristo, a self-identified radical transgender professor of American studies, made these disturbing comments in an October 10th social media post. Decristo’s account has since been made private.
In the post, Decristo wrote, “[One] group of ppl we have easy access to in the US is all these Zionist journalists who spread propaganda & misinformation. They have houses w addresses, kids in school. They can fear their bosses, but they should fear us more,” as reported by Mediaite.
To make matters even more alarming, Decristo added emojis of a knife, ax, and blood droplets to emphasize the message.
Hey @ucdavis, do you think it’s appropriate that one of your faculty advisors, @jemmaisOKeh, is publicly threatening to murder Jews at their homes and their children at their schools? pic.twitter.com/xAx97LHYbr

In another post before making his account private, Decristo expressed his desire to set fire to the US embassy and demanded that the US leave all countries. This post was in response to protests at the US Embassy in Beirut.
Furthermore, when the Israeli Embassy in Jordan was set on fire, Decristo responded with enthusiasm, posting “HELL YEAH” along with three Palestinian flag emojis, according to Mediaite.
Concerned individuals reached out to the university for clarification. Ken Kurson, a journalist, asked if he should be afraid as a Zionist journalist with an address and children in school. The college responded by stating that they reject all forms of violence and discrimination.
Decristo’s actions have sparked outrage and raised questions about the university’s response. Campus Reform also questioned the steps being taken to protect Jewish journalists and prevent potential harm.
Kurson concluded his post by criticizing the defense of such outrageous remarks under the guise of free speech, highlighting the double standards that exist when it comes to threats against Jews.
A Note from Our Deputy Managing Editor:
What if you woke up one morning and half of the people you count on had just vanished overnight?
That happened to me recently. I got up, came to work here at The Western Journal, and when I got to my office, literally half of our readers had vanished. They were just gone. We had been nuked by Facebook, and it had happened almost instantly.
But it was even worse. Facebook hit us at the same time 90 percent of advertisers had essentially boycotted us. “Brutal” is a word I’ve used a lot lately.
The fight for the truth is brutal. The fight for America’s soul is brutal. What the government is doing to Jan. 6 detainees is brutal. What surgeons are doing to confused children is brutal.
It’s a fight we must win. But we can’t win without you.
A subscription to The Western Journal will go much farther than you think. It costs less than a cup of Starbucks coffee, and for that small price you get access to ALL of our content — news, commentary, and premium articles — you’ll experience a radically reduced number of ads, and most importantly you will be vitally supporting the fight against leftism.
Can I count on you to subscribe today? We need your help. Benjamin Franklin summed up the situation we’re all facing when he said, “We must all hang together, or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately.”
We plan to hang in and fight. Please help us. Please subscribe today.
Sincerely,
Josh Manning
Deputy Managing Editor
