Gay furries hacker seeks revenge in 5 states against child mutilation bans.

A Hacking Group Targets States Over LGBT Policies

A hacking group known as “gay furries” has recently launched a cyber attack against five states in response to their LGBT policies. This group, which is part of a larger organization called SiegedSec, has previously targeted Arkansas and Kentucky as a protest against the Supreme Court’s ruling on the Roe v. Wade abortion case.

The “gay furries” group, as reported by the Daily Dot, has successfully hacked government websites in Nebraska, South Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Texas. Their actions are motivated by a desire to send a message to the U.S. government and challenge the banning of gender-affirming care in certain states.

In their latest attack, SiegedSec proudly announced that they have defaced the South Dakota Boards and Commissions website and leaked documents from the Nebraska Supreme Court Intranet and South Carolina Criminal Justice Information Services. They claim to have accessed health records in Texas and disrupted systems in Pennsylvania.

When the claims were investigated by the Daily Dot, it was found that sites in South Dakota and Texas were indeed down, and the leaked documents contained sensitive information such as contact details of probation officers. The South Carolina hack revealed what appeared to be training materials.

While the group’s primary focus is on minority rights, particularly LGBTQ+ rights, some experts suggest that their motivations may be more complex. Brett Callow, a threat analyst at cybersecurity firm Emsisoft, questions the group’s choice of targets and the nature of the data they have hacked.

Regardless of their true intentions, the actions of the “gay furries” hacking group have sparked controversy and raised concerns about cybersecurity and the protection of sensitive information.
