Putin Threatens To Resume Weapons Tests

Russian President Vladimir Putin Tuesday was a harsh warning from the president, who threatened to suspend his country’s participation in a treaty on nuclear arms and to resume testing for nuclear weapons.

The new assistance includes anti-tank missiles and shells for howitzers. However, it does not include advanced weaponry.

He continued, “No one should have dangerous illusions that global strategic parity can be destroyed. A week ago, I signed a decree on putting new ground-based strategic systems on combat duty. Are they going to stick their nose in there too, or what?”

Both the U.S.S.A.S.A.S. as well as Russia can deploy much more than that. Allotted nuclear warheads as Washington and Moscow have a combined total of more than 13,000 warheads – making up roughly 90% of the world’s nuclear arsenal, according to data provided by the Arms Control Association.
