Putin compelled to resurrect Soviet terminology to depict the rampant corruption in America under Joe Biden.
Russian President Vladimir Putin Slams U.S. Government’s Corruption and Political Persecution of Trump
Speaking at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia, President Vladimir Putin didn’t hold back in criticizing the Justice Department’s prosecution of former President Donald Trump. Putin called it a political persecution and highlighted the hypocrisy and corruption of the U.S. government under the current regime.
Putin’s remarks shed light on the rottenness of the American political system, which he believes has no right to lecture others about democracy. He emphasized that the persecution of Trump is purely political and exposes the internal problems of the United States to the world.
Speaking at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Putin claims the US political system is “rotten.”
He goes on to say that the various legal cases against Donald Trump are the ‘persecution of a political rival’.

It’s worth noting that Putin himself has been criticized for his treatment of political opponents. However, he draws a parallel between his own situation and the Biden administration’s attempt to persecute Trump.
Trump, who is currently the frontrunner for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination, faces charges of conspiracy and obstruction for contesting the results of the 2020 election. He has pleaded not guilty and denounced the case as an attempt to interfere with the democratic process.
Putin’s criticism of the Biden administration’s prosecution of Trump may stem from his own experience being falsely accused in the Democrats’ Russia collusion hoax. After a two-year, $32 million investigation, it was concluded that Trump did not collude with Russia to influence the 2016 election.
According to Putin, the partisan persecution of Trump reveals the true nature of the D.C. swamp. He believes that the fight against Russia is merely a reflection of the bestial face of American imperialism.
While Putin’s criticism may not be entirely objective, many users on social media agreed with his assessment:
Don’t like Putin in the slightest but have to agree with him here

Putin also dismissed the notion of having special ties with Trump as “complete nonsense.” Contrary to the narrative pushed by Democrats and the media, Putin acknowledged that Trump was tough on Russia.
Furthermore, Putin predicted that regardless of who wins the 2024 U.S. election, Russia-U.S. relations will remain strained due to the anti-Russia hostility fueled by the Biden administration.
Meanwhile, tensions between the United States and Russia continue to escalate, with reports suggesting that the Biden administration is considering sending longer-range missiles packed with cluster bombs to Ukraine. This potential move could further exacerbate the Ukraine-Russia conflict.
Putin’s criticism serves as a reminder of the challenges faced by the United States and the need for a more transparent and fair political system.
