‘Protect My Kids From Ghouls’: Minnesota Lt. Gov. Slammed After Telling Parents To Support ‘Gender-Affirming’ Care

Speaking at an event in which Democrat Governor Tim Walz signed a executive order requiring state agencies to protect, the lieutenant governor for Minnesota spoke. “gender-affirming” Parents were warned not to discourage their children from seeking out health care, even surgery. Conservatives laughed at the advice.

Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan addressed crowd wearing a shirt that said “Lot Governor Peggy Flanagan” “Protect Trans Kids” It has a picture of an axe on it.

“Let’s be clear: this is life-affirming and life-saving health care,” she declared. “When our children tell us who they are, it is our job as grown-ups to listen and to believe them. That’s what it means to be a good parent.”

Conservatives were upset by Flanagan’s demand that parents let go of their responsibilities in leading their young children in such delicate situations.

My job as parent is to protect my children against ghouls who will let them mutilate others before they are old enough for life-changing decisions.

If 9-year olds can make a decision to cut off their parts, then why not let them drink, drive 18 wheelsers and pole dance?

“People who struggle with their gender identity deserve compassionate care that will help them become comfortable in their bodies, not mutilate them,” John Helmberger (CEO of the Minnesota Family Council) reacted to this executive order.

Walz described the efforts made by the various states in the country to restrict Walz’s remarks. “gender-affirming” care out “persecution,” ventilating, “We’ll make sure that Minnesota’s place as a welcoming, loving, neighborly state where you are welcome and will be free of persecution or anything else that we’re trying to see in some other states.”

He focused his attention on Minnesota’s nearest neighbor, South Dakota. Kristi Noem signed the February bill that banned prescriptions of hormone therapy and puberty blocksers for minors.

“I don’t know what a group of people in Pierre who decide to make life miserable and more dangerous for people are thinking, but it’s not going to happen in Minnesota,” Walz boasted.

Minnesota’s statehouse will review a bill by a transgender representative. It would make Minnesota a “trans refuge state” This would prohibit the state from complying with court orders or child protection laws of other states. “gender-affirming” health care in Minnesota.

Iowa’s senator passed a bill that prohibits doctors from prescribing hormone therapy to children below the age of 18 and preventing them from prescribing puberty blocksers or hormone therapy.

Arkansas was the first to ban sex-change in 2021. Utah followed in January 2021. Florida’s Board of Medicine and Board of Osteopathic Medicine endorsed Governor Ron DeSantis and banned sexchange for children under 18. Bill Lee of Tennessee and Tate Reeves of Mississippi have also signed bills banning sexchange for minors.
