Prosecutors File Criminal Charges Against Alec Baldwin Over Shooting Death On ‘Rust’ Set

Actor Alec Baldwin Officially charged Tuesday afternoon with involuntary murder for the shooting death cinematographer Halyna Houtchins on the movie sets of “Rust,” According to court records.

Mary Carmack, Santa Fe District Attorney, filed involuntary menslaughter charges against Hannah Gutierrez Reed, the person accused of handling the guns on set.

“Negligent use of a deadly weapon charges were also filed against ‘Rust’ assistant director David Halls, who has pleaded no contest and has entered into a plea agreement that is pending approval,” the DA’s office said in a statement.
