Interestingly, the poll did not show significant shifts in voter preferences for the candidates.
Out of all the candidates on stage, DeSantis had the highest percentage of voters considering voting for him at 56%. Former President Donald Trump, who did not participate in the debate, received 61%.
Megyn Kelly, the debate moderator, expressed her opinion that DeSantis emerged as the winner, while Haley, who has been gaining momentum in the polls, lost the debate.

According to Kelly, “I mean, with all respect to her, I thought Nikki Haley lost last night because she shrunk away like she was not really a presence, and she’s been increasing her poll numbers by getting out there and being pugilistic, and that version of her did not appear on stage last night.”
She further added, “I thought Ron DeSantis had his best debate yet. And so I think you could probably say he’s the winner because he’s in the best poll position of the four.”
“She was not really a prescense.”

What factors have contributed to DeSantis consistently performing well in the polls?
S been consistently performing well in the polls. This may be attributed to his strong conservative stance on issues, his experience as Florida Governor, and his ability to effectively communicate his policies to the public.

His strong conservative values, successful record as Florida Governor, and ability to effectively articulate his policies resonated with voters. As the primary season progresses, it will be interesting to see if DeSantis can maintain his momentum and secure the Republican nomination.
