Portland Antifa Journo Charged With Felony Robbery and Assault ​​

On Tuesday evening, Portland Antifa members Alissa Eleanor Azar He was charged with multiple felonies for a violent robbery.

Azar was charged Robbery II is considered a class B crime; Robbery III is considered a felony of class C; Theft II is class A misdemeanor. Assault III (class C felony) and Tampering With Physical Evidence (class A misdemeanor).

The Portland Police refused to provide details on Azar’s arrest. However, independent journalist Chelly Bouferrache saw an incident in Portland on August 27th that may have been the source of the charges. She claims that Azar was part a group of masked Antifa activists who confronted street preachers at the Saturday market. An audio streamer that was recording the event was then attacked by antifa members and robbed. Antifa routinely attack and steal property Journalists documenting their public activities.

“[The videographer] got jumped by some Antifa in masks and dropped his phone which landed between my feet,” Bouferrache said TPM. “As I reached down to grab it Alissa Azar snatched it up and refused to give it back when I asked for it. Then she walked off with it.”

Azar lost custody of her child last month after the court found that she had threatened her child’s safety through her violent extremist activities. In a Mastodon Post, Azar said that “their arguments were all revolving around my involvement with antifascism and my criminal trial, with a sprinkle of misogyny.”

Azar had posted on Twitter previously a screenshot of a question her son sent her.
