Police Warn Of Shots Fired At Michigan State University

Michigan State University Police issued an alert Monday night informing the campus of an active shooter.

MSU police reported shots being fired at several locations in East Lansing, Michigan. These included Berkey hall and nearby. IM East.

According to the MSU police Twitter account, there were “multiple reported injuries” IM East and the police responded to the scene.

MSU stated that one suspect was believed to be walking. The suspect’s whereabouts were not immediately clear.

Authorities advised members of the campus community to seek shelter.

Gretchen Whitmer, Michigan Governor, said that she was briefed about the situation.
