Police arrest man threatening Erika Kirk ahead of TPUSA event
Police in San Antonio arrested Jacob Wenske, 26, charging him with felony terroristic threats after he allegedly made multiple death threats against Turning Point USA CEO Erika kirk ahead of an all-female TPUSA event. The affidavit says Wenske posted comments about bombing the venue and also sent an email calling for Kirk’s death and the deaths of other speakers, even referencing a bombing at Turning Point rallies and events.
TPUSA said law enforcement responded quickly and that its events include enhanced security with both private security and local police.The Women’s Leadership Summit is scheduled for June 5-7 in downtown San Antonio, with about 2,500 attendees, and TPUSA indicated it plans to proceed as planned.
A man has been arrested by police in San Antonio for allegedly making multiple death threats against Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk as she prepares to host an all-female event in the Texas city next weekend.
Jacob Wenske, 26, was arrested Thursday morning and charged with two felony counts of making a terroristic threat causing public fear, KSAT first reported based on the affidavit.

Wenske allegedly said in a social media post that he knows “exactly where to bomb” at the venue for the group’s three-day event, according to San Antonio police. He also said, “I can’t wait to be the valet for her escort.”
In an email, Wenske explicitly called for the murder of Charlie Kirk‘s widow and others: “Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!! America will live on without those scum on this earth. Every Christian nationalist shall perish in the bombing that will take place at every single Turning Point rally and event.”
The Washington Examiner contacted the San Antonio Police Department for comment.
TPUSA thanked the San Antonio Police Department and the FBI for their “rapid response” in apprehending the suspect.
“Turning Point USA takes all threats seriously and we work closely with law enforcement at all levels to respond to and resolve any threats,” the conservative organization said in a statement Thursday afternoon.
“The safety of our attendees, speakers, and staff is always our top priority,” TPUSA wrote. “All TPUSA events include enhanced, multi-layered security measures that are enforced by both private security and local police.”
The Women’s Leadership Summit is scheduled to take place in downtown San Antonio from June 5 to 7. About 2,500 women are expected to attend.
Daily Wire host Isabel Brown, one of the scheduled speakers, spoke out against rising political violence following the news.
“There is an unmistakable political violence problem from the atheist Left in America today,” she posted. “Pray for the soul of our country.”
TPUSA vowed to not be silenced by the latest threat against Kirk. As of now, it appears the event will go on as planned with an appearance from the chief executive.

In April, she skipped an event at the University of Georgia due to what TPUSA said were “some very serious threats in her direction” at the time. She was supposed to take the stage with Vice President JD Vance, who carried on the show with TPUSA official Andrew Kolvet.
Kirk did not directly address the alleged plot against her, but she did post a psalm about the “wicked [plotting] against the righteous” on social media. She then finished the post with a message: “God’s justice is certain.”
