During a House Judiciary Committee hearing on the weaponization of the federal government, Democratic Rep. Linda Sanchez of California tried to trap FBI whistleblower Marcus Allen into tanking his credibility by asking him if he had ever used Twitter before and then trying to pin a random Twitter account on him. Allen denied that the account was his, but Sanchez persisted and blamed him for tweets he never made.

The account posted the following sentence in bold: “Donald Trump is the greatest President of my lifetime!” Gaetz pounced on her for it.
