Photos reveal couple indicted for involvement in ‘Antifa explosive attacks’ at Michael Knowles event.

Photos Emerge of Indicted Couple in Connection to Violent Protest at University of Pittsburgh

Social media is buzzing with photos allegedly showing the married couple indicted for their involvement in an April protest at the University of Pittsburgh. The protest took place during a debate on transgenderism featuring Daily Wire host Michael Knowles.

Journalist Andy Ngo, known for his reporting on Antifa’s activism and violence, shared the photos on Twitter. The images allegedly depict Brian and Krystal DiPippa, Pittsburgh residents who now face charges over a violent clash with law enforcement during the event.

According to Ngo, the criminal complaint states that the suspects are part of an extremist cell that meets at the Big Idea Bookstore in Pittsburgh. These “anarchist bookstores” serve as meeting and training spaces for Antifa.

Ngo also shared a link to his Locals page, where he posted an FBI agent’s affidavit in support of a search warrant. The affidavit provides a timeline and insight into how investigators identified the DiPippas, who were reportedly wearing masks during the protest. It also mentions that Brian DiPippa triggered airport security alarms multiple times with belongings that tested positive for explosive compound RDX, but he was allowed to travel.

Knowles, in response to Ngo’s revelations, expressed his shock and concern, stating that the situation was far more dangerous and coordinated than he had previously known.

DOJ Announces Indictment of Brian and Krystal DiPippa

The Department of Justice (DOJ) recently announced that Brian DiPippa, 36, and Krystal DiPippa, 40, have been indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh. The charges include conspiracy, obstruction of law enforcement, and for Brian DiPippa, using an explosive to commit a federal felony, according to a U.S. Attorney’s Office news release.

The DOJ release states that during the protest on April 18, 2023, Brian DiPippa ignited and dropped homemade smoke bomb containers near a line of people waiting to enter the O’Hara Student Center. When Pitt Police officers formed a barrier to prevent the protesters from entering the building, Brian DiPippa, concealed by his wife Krystal, threw a large explosive firework into the group of officers, causing injuries.

If found guilty, the charges of conspiracy and obstruction of law enforcement could result in a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, a $500,000 fine, or both. Using an explosive to commit a federal felony carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and a maximum fine of $250,000.

Knowles, who participated in the debate titled “Should transgenderism be regulated by law?” with libertarian journalist Brad Polumbo, expressed his satisfaction with the FBI’s arrest of the couple involved in the explosive incident at his campus event.
