Hunter Biden was photographed at his father’s house on the day he used his father’s name to intimidate a Chinese business partner.

Photographs Place Hunter Biden at Father’s Residence During Threatening Text Message

Photographs found on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop have emerged, placing him at his father’s residence in Wilmington, Delaware. These photos were taken on the same day he sent a text message invoking President Joe Biden’s name and threatening his Chinese business partner. The message warned that if the partner did not fulfill his “commitment,” they would face the full weight of the Bidens.

In the message, sent on July 30, 2017, to an official named Henry Zhao from the Chinese energy conglomerate CEFC Energy, Hunter Biden claimed to be sitting next to his father. He expressed their desire to understand why the commitment had not been fulfilled.

The message became public when Congress released testimony from an IRS whistleblower, Gary Shapley, who obtained the message during his investigation of Hunter Biden’s tax crimes. Shortly after sending the message, Hunter Biden was photographed at his father’s home, sitting behind the wheel of Joe Biden’s beloved 1967 Corvette Stingray, surrounded by family members.

While there is no concrete evidence that Joe Biden was present in the room with his son, the timing strongly suggests that he could have been. Four photographs on Hunter Biden’s laptop show him posing with Joe Biden’s Corvette at 6:49 p.m. on July 30, 2017. GPS metadata confirms that the photos were taken near Joe Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware home.

If Joe Biden was indeed sitting next to his son when the threatening message was sent, it would contradict his repeated claims that he never discussed foreign business deals with Hunter. The photographs of Hunter Biden at a family gathering at the Delaware home provide the strongest indication of his proximity to his father during the incident. The White House has not responded to requests for comment.

Intense Exchange and Family Gathering

In the WhatsApp message, Hunter Biden continued to express his urgency, stating that he wanted to resolve the situation before it escalated. He warned that if anyone other than the specified individuals contacted him, they would face consequences. He emphasized that kindness should not be mistaken for weakness and that he would hold a grudge against those who did not follow his directions.

In a subsequent message, Hunter Biden mentioned that he was waiting for a call with his father and expressed hope that the matter at hand was important. The message was sent at 9:45 a.m.

The Washington Free Beacon initially reported on the photograph of Hunter Biden in the Corvette after classified documents were discovered in the garage where Joe Biden kept the car.

While it is unclear whether the Bidens received a call from their Chinese counterparts that day, it appears that they resolved their differences. A few days later, Hunter Biden wrote to Henry Zhao, extending his family’s best wishes and looking forward to playing golf with him. Zhao reciprocated the regards, mentioning Joe Biden and his brother, Jim Biden.

On the same day, Hunter Biden sent an email to CEFC director Gongwen Dong, confirming a $10 million contract for introductions alone, with additional payments for successful business deals introduced by the Biden family.

The relationship with CEFC Energy proved lucrative for the Bidens. Hunter Biden received at least $5 million from the company to scout potential investments, and an additional $1 million for providing legal services to CEFC Energy executive Patrick Ho, who faced bribery charges.

Shared Office Space and Meetings

According to emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop, he and Joe Biden shared office space in Washington with their Chinese partners. Hunter Biden requested keys for his father, step-mother Jill Biden, his uncle Jim Biden, and CEFC executives, referring to them as “office mates.”

There is further evidence that Joe Biden was aware of his son’s involvement with CEFC Energy. Rob Walker, a longtime Biden family friend, stated that he was present when Hunter and Joe Biden attended a meeting with CEFC officials at the Four Seasons in Washington, D.C. Walker believed that Hunter brought his father to impress the Chinese executives.

Tony Bobulinski, a California businessman, also confirmed that he met with Hunter and Joe Biden in Los Angeles in May 2017 to discuss their CEFC venture. According to Bobulinski, Joe Biden, referred to as “the big guy,” was set to receive a 10 percent equity stake in the joint venture.

Hunter Biden’s attorney, Chris Clark, did not respond to requests for comment.
