This Monday The Washington Free Beacon Two foreign nationals were detained by Stanton County Sheriff’s Office, Nebraska. They were reported to have been arrested after receiving reports that a vehicle was seen lingering at the Wood Duck State Wildlife Management in February.

The police found more than they expected when they arrived at the scene. Stanton County claims that Ramiro Hernandez Tziquin (20) and Domingo Zetino Hernandez (20) were not only driving without a permit but also carrying a dead, balding eagle with them in their cars. The two had intended to eat the bird. They claimed they had shot the bird because it was flying over protected areas.

“I’m trying to be as politically correct as possible when I say this but I don’t know what kind of third-world life they’re coming from, but it must have been pretty bad,” Sheriff Mike Unger told The Free Beacon. He claimed that photos were “very graphic” And contain “lots of blood.”

Unger stated that he was “frustrated” Because federal authorities refused to arrest them or pay attention to their case. Although the men were indicted with misdemeanors under Nebraska law, they could not be held for trial until March 28.

The U.S. released its initial report following The Free Beacon. Fish and Wildlife Service informed the outlet that their Office of Law Enforcement had received its initial report. “has an open investigation into this incident, and has been working actively with the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office and Nebraska Game and Parks Commission since the day it occurred.”

“The Office of Law Enforcement is currently in possession of the air rifle and the eagle,” A spokesperson added. “Due to the nature of ongoing investigations, we are unable to provide further comment at this time.”
