Paris Hilton Reveals She Had An Abortion In Her 20s, Calls Pro-Life Initiatives ‘Mind-Boggling’
Reality star and socialite Paris Hilton Openly shared her memories AbortionIn an interview published Thursday, she shares her thoughts about abortion access and the reason she chose surrogacy.
The comments were made by the celebrity at 42 during a recent interview. Glamour UK. Hilton stated that she was in her 20s when she fell pregnant but wasn’t ready for motherhood at the time. “This was also something that I didn’t want to talk about because there was so much shame around that,” The socialite said. “I was a kid and I was not ready for that.”
She also stated her opposition to Roe v. Wade In June 2022, the decision was reversed.
“I think it is important,” Hilton spoke to the publication. “There’s just so much politics around it and all that, but it’s a woman’s body … Why should there be a law based on that? It’s your body, your choice and I really believe in that.”
“It’s mind-boggling to me that they’re making laws about what you do with your reproductive health, because if it were the other way around with the guys, it would not be this way at all,” She continued.
The “Simple Life” The surrogate mother of a child just had a boy and the alum shared some of her thoughts. Glamour spoke to her about how Carter Reum and she chose to freeze embryos, and ended up with 20 children. They are now trying IVF again to get a girl.
“I just went through the process again a month ago, so I’m waiting for the results to see if there’s any girls,” She revealed.
The reality star, 41 years old, said that her age was not a factor in using a surrogate to give birth rather than doing it herself. Kim Kardashian, a surrogate herself, also spoke to her to help navigate the process.

Hilton claimed that part of her reluctance was due to the alleged abuse she suffered at Provo Canyon School, while another part was because of the thought of having children.
“I’m just so scared, I think, again, leading back to Provo of even being in a doctor’s office, just all of that. The shots, the IVs that they put in,” Hilton stated.
“When I was in ‘The Simple Life,’ I had to be in a room when a woman was giving birth and that traumatized me as well. But I want a family so bad, it’s just the physical part of doing it. I’m just so scared … childbirth and death are the two things that scare me more than anything in the world.”
