Ozzy Osbourne Leaving U.S. Because He “Doesn’t Want To Die In Crazy America”

Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary frontman of Black Sabbath, has announced that he is leaving the U.S. and moving back to the U.K. with his wife Sharon because he “doesn’t want to die in crazy America.”

Ozzy Osbourne Leaving America

Daily Mail reported that Ozzy, who has lived in Beverly Hills, California for over 25 years, lamented that “everything’s f****** ridiculous” in America these days.

“I’m fed up with people getting killed every day,” Ozzy, 73, told The Observer. “God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings. And there was that mass shooting in Vegas at that concert… It’s f*****g crazy.”

This was a seeming reference to the Route 91 Harvest shooting in 2017, where nearly 60 people died and more than 500 were injured, according to Billboard

“And I don’t want to die in America. I don’t want to be buried in f—ing Forest Lawn,” he continued, referring to the famous cemetery in Hollywood, where many celebrities are buried.

“I’m English. I want to be back,” he added. “But, saying that, if my wife said we’ve got to go and live in Timbuktu, I’ll go. But, no, it’s just time for me to come home.”

Sharon Chimes In

That’s why Ozzy and Sharon are moving to their 120-year-old Grade II listed Buckinghamshire pile Welders House. Sharon chimed in to shut down any speculation that they are moving because of Ozzy’s advancing Parkinson’s disease.

“I knew people would think that. It’s not. It’s just time,” she said. “America has changed so drastically. It isn’t the United States of America at all. Nothing’s united about it. It’s a very weird place to live right now.”

Ozzy also claimed that he plans to tour again after the release of his next album “Patient Number 9,” which is set to debut on September 9. This album will feature tracks with Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, Eric Clapton, Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready and late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.

“I’ll give it the best shot I can for another tour. You have not seen the end of Ozzy Osbourne, I promise you,” he said. “If I have to go up there and die on the first song, I’ll still be back the next day.”

Ozzy’s Previous Comments

Ozzy had spoken out earlier this year to say that he and Sharon were leaving Los Angeles because of how high taxes have gotten in the liberal-run state of California.

‘We are leaving L.A. We are a bit sad. But the tax is getting too much. I am sad because I really really like staying and living there,” Ozzy told The Mirror. “If they do the taxes better then I may come back. I do not know.”

“I am taking my recording studio with me,” he added. “I am going to build a barn there and make my own studio at Welders. I will still be making music and my band will come over.”

Ozzy can make it seem like he’s leaving the U.S. because of “woke” gun violence all he wants to, but it seems that in the end, the real reason is the high tax rates being imposed on him by Democrats. Here’s hoping he gets back to being more honest about that in the future!
