Officials say Hayden Panettiere died from accidental fentanyl overdose
Actress Hayden Panettiere died from an accidental overdose that involved fentanyl and several other drugs, according to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office in south Carolina. She was 36 years old and passed away on August 16 after being found unresponsive and in cardiac arrest at an apartment where she was staying temporarily. Despite efforts by first responders to revive her, she was pronounced dead that afternoon.
