Imagine using your father’s influence to escape the consequences of your crimes and then indulging in a lavish dinner at the White House. That’s exactly what Hunter Biden did, as reported by CBS News. The menu for the evening included tantalizing dishes like marinated millet and grilled corn kernel salad, stuffed portobello mushrooms with saffron-infused risotto, and rose and cardamom-infused strawberry shortcake for dessert.
But this wasn’t just any dinner. It was a state dinner for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, attended by the political elite, business moguls, and even celebrities like Ralph Lauren and M. Night Shyamalan. Hunter Biden was seen rubbing shoulders with the who’s who of the world, despite his involvement in a massive corruption scandal.

One might expect a person in Hunter Biden’s position to lay low and avoid flaunting their privilege after receiving such a lenient plea deal. But Hunter, known for his scandalous personal life, doesn’t seem to care about public opinion. As one tweet put it, “No dignity, nothing.”

Even Attorney General Merrick Garland was present at the dinner, perhaps as a token gesture from the Bidens. This comes after Senator Rick Scott demanded an explanation from Garland regarding the sweetheart deal given to Hunter Biden, which allows him to avoid any prison time.
Americans are serving prison time for doing exactly what Hunter Biden did.

The individual mentioned here is a drug user and lied on a federal form to purchase a firearm.
She is facing 25 years in prison while Hunter Biden, who committed the same crimes in addition to tax evasion, isn’t facing any jail time.

Senator Scott highlighted the glaring inconsistencies in the justice system, pointing out cases where individuals received harsh sentences for similar offenses. He questioned how Hunter Biden’s case could be any different and expressed his concern about the erosion of trust in the justice system.

Congressman Donalds echoed Senator Scott’s sentiments, highlighting the disparity in sentencing for similar offenses. He called out the two-tiered justice system in the country and emphasized the need for consistent and fair application of the law.
The reported plea agreement extended to President Biden’s son is a farcical example of precisely that two-tiered approach to criminal justice by the DOJ under your leadership,” Scott wrote to Garland. “What is the American public to take away from the outcome of this five-year investigation and leniency shown to Hunter Biden on both the federal tax violations and firearms offenses he committed?
But Scott’s words will fall on deaf ears, at least on the Democrat side of the aisle.
The president’s son, it seems, is exempt, not just from federal laws, but the laws of common decency that govern the rest of the country.
Marie Antoinette supposedly said, “Let them eat cake,” and they guillotined her for it.
Thursday night, Hunter Biden ate saffron risotto and probably got a new Burisma-type multi-million dollar contract for doing absolutely nothing.
