In a fiery interview on One Nation with Brian Kilmeade, Nikki Haley, 51, didn’t hold back in criticizing the older generation of politicians. Specifically, she targeted John Kerry, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden, claiming they were too old for government service.
“Thank the good Lord, we need all the 80-year-olds to get out of there,” Haley exclaimed. “I will tell you that includes Trump and Biden. We got to get past all of these senior citizens that are sitting there staying for decades and years and all of that. We have to have a new generational leader. You can’t keep doing that. Ask anybody — we don’t need an 80-year-old president. We don’t need an 80-year-old climate czar.”
Kerry, who is currently 80, is rumored to be joining the Biden campaign team after retiring from his position as Biden’s special envoy for climate. Biden himself is 81-years-old, while Trump is 77-years-old. In contrast, the youngest candidate in the race for president is Vivek Ramaswamy, a 38-year-old running for the Republican nomination.
“That is how ridiculous government has gotten,” Haley added, referring to Kerry’s role as climate envoy for the past three years.
Republican Candidates Descend on Iowa
All the Republican candidates have flocked to Iowa this weekend, as the state’s caucuses are scheduled for Monday. These caucuses mark the first in the nation.
According to the latest Suffolk University Political Research Center poll, Trump leads with 54% support from likely Iowa Republican caucus voters. Haley follows with 20%, while Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) has 13% and Ramaswamy trails behind at 6%.
