Working Hard to Make it Work

Cannon discussed his financial situation and how he makes time for his kids. He works hard to generate at least $100 million a year, which is more than what people think Ryan Seacrest makes. Cannon said, “I do everything that he does times three. Because he does a lot.”

Being a Good Person Matters More

Despite the criticism, Cannon is focused on being a good person and a good father. He said, “It’s more about really being a good person instead of telling people you’re a good person.” He has a schedule for spending time with his kids and believes that it’s not about what he does for them, but how they feel when he’s with them.

Honesty is the Best Policy

Cannon also defended his decision to have multiple sexual partners, saying that he was honest with all the women about his goals for a relationship. He believes that being honest is better than claiming to be monogamous and then cheating.

Despite having multiple partners, Cannon said that he decides which house to sleep at based on who he last talked to. He’s not just looking for sex, but rather to spend time with his children. He said, “Because everybody’s so busy, nobody’s looking to have sex with me. Everybody’s focus is the children.”

He said, “I hear all the time: ‘You can’t be present for all those children.’ So therefore I get this deadbeat dad title. Right now the narrative is, ‘He has a bunch of kids.’ But I’m really at a place now where I don’t care what people know. I’d rather just operate.”
